The committee members, volunteers, competitors and all those involved in the Balaklava Eisteddfod Society thank you most sincerely for the interest and support of our sponsors over many years. Please accept our appreciation as without your support we would not be able to continue to hold the Eisteddfod.
New sponsors and volunteers are always very welcome. The Balaklava Eisteddfod Society is a voluntary organisation that has been operating with great success since 1997 and we are proud to continue to offer exciting opportunities and encouragement to entrants in many disciplines. The wonderful volunteers continue to give their time to run this two-day event and importantly make welcome the many competitors and their families and friends to Balaklava. These visitors support the local and surrounding businesses.
Each year we are overwhelmed by the response of entrants in most sections and annually we are faced with high running expenses. Sponsorship helps to minimise the costs. Sponsorship of such an event is very important and it ensures the economic viability of the Eisteddfod. We rely greatly on the support given to run all the disciplines and to provide the best adjudicators for the benefit of all competitors. We are continually evolving to make changes and expand.
We welcome your interest and financial and/or “in-kind” support of this Eisteddfod. “In-kind” support might be helping adjudicators, writing results, helping set up venues etc or even donations of goods, eg stationery, stamps etc. All help is greatly appreciated.
