HOW TO ENTER

1. Read the 2025 Entry Guidelines

3. Read the 2025 Rules and Conditions of Entry

4. Download appropriate Documents required from the Entrant Resources menu. Keep a copy for reference.

NOTE – ONE FORM ONLY per school or entrant to be completed online


5. Read the detailed Syllabus Notes for those Disciplines selected to enter. Keep a copy for your own use.

6. Make payment (or send School Purchase Order copy from schools) WHEN YOU ENTER & send a copy of EFT details to entry@balaklavaeisteddfod.org.au. Please send a summary of entry with cheque or money order payment.

* For School entries, please provide the appropriate email address (eg finance manager) for a copy of the invoice to be sent. A School Purchase Order Number can be sent with summary to entry@balaklavaeisteddfod.org.au, while awaiting finance arrangement.

ALL FRIDAY SECTIONS ENTRY FEE:

– PER SECTION ENTERED – $30.00

– PRINTED PROGRAMMES – $5.00 each

*NOTE – printed programmes will be available on the day of competition from all venues and from the Eisteddfod Office at the Balaklava Town Hall. Programmes will also be available for $5.00 beforehand locally from Balaklava Community Library, Balaklava Post Office and other locations to be advised.

DISCIPLINES – Saturday 2nd August 2025

ALL SATURDAY SECTIONS ENTRY FEES:

– $15.00 per SOLO section entered

– $10.00 per EACH member of an ensemble/group with 2-4 performers entered (EXCLUDES sd5-9)

– $30.00 per large GROUP DRAMA for 5-9 performers (sd5-9)

– PRINTED PROGRAMMES – $5.00 each

NOTES

​Total entries are STRICTLY LIMITED to no more than FIVE per school or individual.

FRIDAY DISCIPLINES: No more than TWO sections in the Choral, Band and Rock Band disciplines on Friday 1st August may be entered per school.

Schools may enter more than two sections in the Instrumental Ensemble (4-9 instruments) and Vocal Ensemble (4-9 voices) disciplines, providing the total number of Friday entries does not exceed FIVE per school.

SATURDAY DISCIPLINES: There is a limit of only ONE entry in Contemporary Vocal, Musical Theatre and Junior Vocal SOLO SECTIONS.

A participant may enter both Vocal – Classical and Vocal Non-classical sections as well as Vocal Scholarship.

There may be more than one entry in the Saturday ENSEMBLE & GROUP SECTIONS (2-5 performers) providing at least one ensemble member or instrument is different.

Total Saturday entries (solo and ensemble combined) must not exceed FIVE per individual.
